Starting His Career in Construction

Robert’s career journey began in 1976 when he started working for A.O. Misch Construction in Detroit, Michigan. He was a project manager and worked on various commercial building projects across the Detroit metropolitan area. A significant part of his early work included managing the construction of commercial buildings across the region, such as Michigan National Bank branches and large AAA consumer branches. However, his most notable achievement at A.O. Misch was managing the construction of the World Headquarters for AAA in Dearborn, Michigan, located directly across from the Ford Twin Towers.

Entering the Event Logistics Business

After his time in construction, Robert Edward Napior decided to change direction and start his own business. He founded Event Logistics, Inc. in Brookline, New Hampshire, in 1989. This company focused on managing large outdoor events, such as multi-day camping festivals nationwide. Robert’s first significant projects included working with some of the most well-known music festivals of the time, including the Phish camping festivals. He was also involved in the early years of the Bonnaroo Festival, helping to organize logistics for the multi-day event that would go on to become one of the country’s largest and most beloved music festivals.

Over the next decade, Robert perfected his event planning and logistics skills, developing an understanding of what it takes to manage large-scale events and festivals. He worked closely with clients, suppliers, and local teams to ensure he delivered high-quality services.

A New Chapter at Deployed Resources

In 2001, Robert took on a new challenge by becoming the Managing Member and 50% owner of Deployed Resources, a company he still owns today. Deployed Resources is based in Tampa, Florida, and supplies equipment and services for government agencies, disaster relief, special events, and commercial companies.

Under Robert’s leadership, Deployed Resources has become a successful business that has constructed temporary base camps for government agencies, disaster recovery, and large events. These base camps provide essential facilities for personnel deployed in areas without infrastructure. Robert’s ability to have estimated costs, oversee project management, and provide logistical support for these base camps has made Deployed Resources one of the leaders in its field. Robert now continues to participate in steering the company in the Owner/Founder capacity.
